Summer 2010

Do you want the opportunity to work on real world solutions to water problems plaguing thousands of rural Honduran villagers?

Join a 7 day student-run Water Brigade to Honduras! This summer we will send a group of dedicated volunteers, along with water specialists, engineers and public health experts to Honduras. The group will work alongside Honduran community leaders to create and implement a creative and powerful clean water solution for the future generation.

This is a unique opportunity for anyone who is interested in engineering, public health, international development, or just experiencing Central America first hand. We especially need Spanish-speaking students on the brigade; however, everyone (even with no Spanish or water experience) is encouraged to apply.

We will organize and gather necessary materials and expertise throughout the year to bring with us to Honduras. All members of the brigade will be paying their own travel, room, and board expenses. However, we will fundraise together to minimize expenses.
